MOUNTLAKE TERRACE, Wash. – Sometimes just a small change can make a big difference. The $262 million credit union cited its 30% asset growth and three credit unions, including The Federal Credit Union, United Sound Community Credit Union and Credit Union of Puget Sound merging with it as reasons for the change. "The name change to Washington's Credit Union more clearly reflects who we are and that we are serving the people of our state," said WCU President/CEO Ton Blankenship. Washington's CU serves 65,000 members.
