PASADENA, Calif. – Wescom Integrated Data (www.wescomids.com) Systems, a partnership between Wescom Credit Union here and Integrated Data Systems (IDS), of Calabasas, California is debuting the latest version of its online interface with Clarke American. Wescom IDS said the interface allows for faster processing of check orders either in the branch, on the telephone or using the credit union Web site. Member information is entered into a central database and instantly delivers the information to Clarke American to be processed. "There is a clear return on investment." said Wescom IDS President Ann Marie Michael. "Our system reduces errors and the associated costs, such as reprinting and error resolution calls with members." Utilizing Wescom Credit Union as a launch site, Wescom IDS implemented the first version of the program in the fall of 2001. The second version features key enhancements that integrate to the Clarke American expanded line of products.
