MIDWAY, Utah – Reed Data Inc. is adding a Web-based "safety deposit box" to its lineup of electronic document delivery and optical archiving systems. RDI now will be offering the PrivateVault service from EnterVault (www.entervault.com), a federally audited subsidiary of Zions First National Bank formed two years ago as a provider of Internet services to support secure delivery, storage and access of electronic files and documents. The new combined service will allow electronic items generated with RDI's DocLogic2 Suite of document delivery and storage solutions to be sent electronically directly to individual end-user's secure vaults, the companies said. The service is personalized and branded with the client institution's colors and logos, at the same time as allowing secure upload and download to users with such needs for secure confidentiality as doctors, lawyers and accountants. The arrangement makes Reed Data "the first vendor in its space to offer an end-to-end solution for "going paperless" that enables individuals to receive their financial statements in a secure, personal Web vault," RDI said in its announcement. "The combined solution addresses both the institution's need for archival storage and the individual's need to personally receive and manage their own financial documents," said RDI (www.reeddata.com), which serves hundreds of financial institutions in 41 states.
