EAST LANSING, Mich. – There was a little bit of Maine at Financial Health Credit Union-lobsters dropped in from Maine to help raise funds for the Children's Miracle Network here. "We wanted to hold a fundraiser that was a little out of the ordinary this year," said Shelly Davis, FHCU business development/marketing manager. "Many of the members threw lobster parties and bought as many as a dozen to serve a feast to their guests." Members placed pre-paid orders and came to the credit union to pick them up. Nearly 400 lobsters were sold raising over $1,100 for CMN. According to Davis, she expects orders to double next year "now that the word is out".
