ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Denali Alaskan FCU has formed a Commercial Lending Department to support, it says, the needs of its many small business members and firms. Art Blickenstaff, senior commercial/mortgage loan officer and senior loan officer at Denali Alaskan for the past five years, has been named business lending manager and will run the CU's commercial lending department. With more than 30 years experience in banking, Blickenstaff will oversee all aspects of Denali's commercial lending department including developing lending programs for the credit union's select employee groups, cultivating new business in the community, and establishing lending policies for the department. Among the services the CU's commercial lending department will offer are vehicle and equipment leasing, business line of credit and commercial real estate loans. Denali Alaskan FCU is the third largest credit union in Alaska. It has more than 35,000 members and assets in excess of $229 million.
