Bell-Tel Credit Union, Orlando, Fla., has broken ground on a new administrative center and branch. Credit union executives, board members, and local government officials were all on-site to celebrate the event. Designed by NewGround, a design/build firm, the facility will be a three-story building scheduled for completion in June 2003. EasCorp, Woburn, Mass., has celebrated the grand opening of a new facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by local elected officials and EasCorp's credit union members. With the new addition, EasCorp now has four office locations. Wauwatosa Credit Union, Milwaukee, Wis., has held a groundbreaking ceremony for its latest branch. The branch will feature an ATM machine, drive-thru lanes, interactive lobby computer terminals and a high-tech security entrance system. The branch is expected to be completed by October 2002. SafeAmerica Federal Credit Union, Pleasanton, Calif., has opened a new administration building and headquarters. Designed by Dallas Taylor Architects and built by the firm of DEI, Inc., who also handled the interior design, the two-story, 26,000 square-foot facility provides a full-service, state-of-the-art branch, Call Center, workout facility for the staff, five teller windows, personal computer stations, and an area in which children can play Game Cube, Play Station 2 or watch a video. There is also a rotunda at the building's entrance that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
