<p>MADISON, Wis. – State Employees Credit Union in Lansing, Michigan is the first credit union to install CUNA Network Services' Managed Intrusion Detection Service. The Managed Intrusion Detection Service monitors credit union traffic for potential threats and prevents attacks or misuse from damaging critical online information resources. It is a remotely managed, 24/7 service that protects networks, hosts, applications, and databases without requiring any extensive credit union investment in hardware, software, or technical staff. "Credit unions need security solutions that protect them and their members without taking staff and resources away from their primary purpose – serving their members," says Doug Benzine, senior vice president of Business Development for CUNA Network Services. "Our goal is to provide cost-effective security solutions to credit unions, allowing them to protect their critical information regardless of budget."
