Velera is betting that the future of credit union technology lies in helping institutions do more with the data they already have.

Speaking on the Shared Accounts With CU Times podcast during VeleraLIVE, Jeremiah Lotz, SVP of enterprise data and experience design, discussed the company's newly announced Atmos ecosystem, which combines data, risk and payments capabilities to provide credit unions with real-time insights and greater flexibility.

"We have all spent the last several years collecting and storing data," Lotz said. "But not all of it is actively helping us make decisions."

The ecosystem, powered by Velera's Solaris technology stack, is designed to provide embedded analytics, AI-enabled insights and modern APIs that allow credit unions to build experiences tailored to their strategic goals.

Lotz said the platform will enable institutions to proactively identify fraud risks, personalize member interactions and streamline operations.

Looking ahead, he said success will be measured by how easily credit unions can access information, integrate new capabilities and create better experiences for members.

"It is easy for me to do business with them," Lotz said of the ultimate goal.
