Belco Community Credit Union of Harrisburg, Pa. ($983.6 million in assets, 68,378 members) announced July 10 that it has begun building a new branch in Lancaster, Pa., 38 miles southeast of Harrisburg. It will be Belco's 13th location in south central Pennsylvania when its opens next spring. Belco had 14 branches on March 31, unchanged from a year earlier.
America First Federal Credit Union of Riverdale, Utah ($24.7 billion in assets, 1.6 million members) announced Monday that it has opened a new branch in Highland, Calif., 65 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. The new branch at 27828 Greenspot Road is six miles east of its only other branch in California. Besides its 95 offices in Utah, America First 29 branches on March 31 in Arizona, California, Idaho, New Mexico and Nevada. Its branch count increased by one is the past year.
Premier Financial Credit Union of New Holstein, Wis. ($130.3 million in assets, 8,374 members) opened a new branch June 29 in in Plymouth, Wis., 18 miles south of New Holstein, which is 44 miles south of Green Bay. Premier Financial had four branches on March 31, unchanged from a year earlier.
Chartway Federal Credit Union of Virginia Beach, Va. ($3.3 billion in assets, 260,806 members) opened a new branch July 9 in Virginia Beach's Town Center area. "The new location marks the next chapter of Chartway's ongoing multi-year, multi-million-dollar branch expansion and renovation initiative across Texas, Utah and Virginia," its news release said. It is opening a branch July 21 in Herriman, Utah, 23 miles south of Salt Lake City. Chartway had 42 branches on March 31, unchanged from a year earlier.
Credit Union of Ohio of Columbus, Ohio ($207.6 million in assets, 22,320 members) on June 25 opened its rebuilt branch at Grove City, Ohio, eight miles southwest of downtown Columbus. Credit Union of Ohio had five branches on March 31, unchanged from a year earlier.
Telhio Credit Union of Columbus, Ohio ($1.3 billion in assets, 67,801 members) opened a branch Wednesday in Bexley, three miles east of downtown Columbus. Telhio had 12 branches on March 31, one more than a year earlier.
