The core is no longer just a transaction engine. For credit unions competing on member experience, expanding into commercial banking, and keeping pace with fraud and AI-driven product innovation, the core is the foundation of the entire credit union ecosystem. What it connects to matters as much as what it processes.

FIS® AffinityEdge is a modern, API-first core banking platform specifically for credit unions, connecting core processing, digital banking, payments, fraud, and commercial capabilities into a single, integrated ecosystem.

In this session, Celent Principal Analyst Craig Focardi, shares his perspective on what a modern core platform needs to deliver for credit unions today and where AffinityEdge stands in that landscape. Keith Gilbert, Head of Credit Union Cores at FIS, follows with a detailed look at the platform: how its ecosystem is structured and what credit unions can expect in practice.
