We are opening up the podcast microphones for a live newsroom discussion with Natasha, Michael and our Senior Reporter Peter Strozniak.

Peter, on the show for the first time, joins us to help give you a lay-of-the-land of the big stories we are covering: The NCUA’s constitutional crisis, the credit union tax-exempt status, bizarre fraud stories, credit union/bank buys and what our “People” coverage reveals about the state of the industry.

We decided to do a show like this because this industry is teetering on top of a pile of news that is turning out to potentially be the most foundation-shifting time in credit union history, and we felt like you should hear how we are approaching these stories and how we view the horizon.

By the way, you’ve enjoyed Peter’s reporting over the years and now you get to hear why we enjoy working with him. Jim DuPlessis is on a much-needed vacation, so we will get him on the next time we do a newsroom update for you all.

Until then, hold on to your hats as we brace for a newsworthy summer!
