Affinity Federal Credit Union has launched a new estate planning solution through a strategic partnership with Legal Karma, a digital estate planning platform. The partnership allows Affinity members to create essential legal documents, such as wills, trusts and powers of attorney, entirely online with step-by-step guidance and attorney-approved templates.

“We’re thrilled to bring this new solution to our members,” Kevin Brauer, CEO of Affinity Federal Credit Union, said. “Estate planning is one of the most important, and often overlooked, steps in achieving long-term financial wellness. By partnering with Legal Karma, we’re giving our members a simple and secure way to protect their families and their legacies at an affordable cost.”

Legal Karma CEO Kory Kelly added, “Legal Karma powers the experience with beautifully designed technology and hands-on support, so Affinity can expand its services without adding complexity. Together, we’re helping more families protect what matters most.”

Estate planning has become a crucial yet often underutilized part of financial wellness. According to the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, over 60% of Americans lack a will or estate plan. Credit unions, which prioritize financial well-being and inclusion, are increasingly offering estate planning tools to serve members across all life stages.

The new estate planning solution is now available through Affinity’s digital channels.
