Judge Orders Full Restitution Be Paid to CU by Former Employee in Theft Case

Meaghan Brooks disputed the amount of funds she stole after she pleaded guilty to theft and was sentenced to four months in jail.

A former mobile branch coordinator for the $2.3 billion HAPO Community Credit Union in Richland, Wash., was ordered to pay more than $75,000 in restitution following a hearing at Benton County Superior Court in August.
