The $971 million, Austin, Texas-based Greater Texas Credit Union is no stranger to the world of higher education – its subsidiary, Aggieland Credit Union, specifically serves members in the Lone Star State’s Brazos Valley, home to College Station, Texas and the Texas A&M University Aggies. Now, the credit union has entrenched itself even deeper into the state’s college system with a sponsorship of Texas State University’s athletics program.

According to Thursday’s announcement, Greater Texas and Texas State University signed a four-year agreement to make the credit union the official sponsor of Texas State Athletics, which includes men’s and women’s football, baseball, basketball, soccer, track and field, tennis, softball, volleyball and golf.
