The $5.4 billion, Richland, Wash.-based Gesa Credit Union promoted Cheryl Adamson to EVP of legal and administration, general counsel. She previously served as vice president, general counsel for Gesa. Adamson has more than 30 years of experience working in private practice with an emphasis on commercial litigation, business representation and insurance matters. In her new role, Adamson will provide legal counsel, support and guidance to the credit union, as well as oversee the vendor management, business continuity management, enterprise risk management, compliance, human resources and team engagement divisions. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington School of Law, and prior to joining Gesa in 2021, Adamson practiced at Rettig Forgette Iller Adamson LLP in the Tri-Cities area of Washington State and Bohrnsen Stocker Smith Luciani Adamson PLLC in Spokane, Wash.
