The deadline to submit entries for the new recognition program, Credit Union Times LUMINARIES, has been extended until June 7.

The program aims to celebrate credit unions, industry executives, internal teams, CUSOs, young professionals and credit union-supporting agencies determined to amplify credit unions in four areas:

  1. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
  2. Innovation in Technology
  3. Product Innovation
  4. Executive Leadership

"We've seen such an incredible amount of interest in our LUMINARIES program that we decided to extend the application deadline another week in order to give people some extra time as we come out of the Memorial Day holiday," CU Times Editor-in-Chief Michael Ogden said.

The program and its related coverage throughout the year will highlight the quantitative and qualitative impacts that Credit Union Times LUMINARIES are making within the industry.

CU Times will feature the bold steps LUMINARIES winners have taken to drive the credit union industry in more dynamic and inclusive ways through special online coverage, as well as in the October and November print issues of the Credit Union Times magazine.

The LUMINARIES program does not emphasize asset levels or rankings. Rather, the awards and coverage of the winners will focus on how top-performing industry participants produced meaningful results in the areas that matter most to credit unions.

The 2022 Winners will be selected by a distinguished and diverse panel of judges from across the credit union industry, as well as our editorial team.

Our coverage of the LUMINARIES winners kicks off in mid-August and the inaugural awards dinner is scheduled for Nov. 9 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C.
