Credit union executives joined city and state leaders last week to mark the grand opening of a $340 million redevelopment project of the Sacramento Convention Center, which was renamed the SAFE Credit Union Convention and Performing Arts District.

The Folsom, Calif.-based SAFE Credit Union in 2019 bought the naming rights for $23 million over the next 25 years for the city’s convention center, community theater and outdoor plaza.
