NAFCU has launched a new online community for members: The ONES + CFPB Supervision Network, which was designed to facilitate conversations focused on the CFPB and NCUA examination processes among credit union leaders, the trade association announced Tuesday.

The new network joined NAFCU's lineup of seven other business area- or role-specific online communities focused on human resources, lending, compliance, CFOs, marketing, cybersecurity and IT, and CEOs. It is open to leaders involved in examinations, such as executives working in risk, fraud, auditing, finance, compliance and legal areas of business, at credit unions with $7 billion or more in assets only, according to NAFCU's website.

"NAFCU is committed to helping credit unions grow stronger by providing them with the resources and tools they need to succeed," NAFCU EVP and COO Anthony Demangone stated. "With that in mind, NAFCU is proud to launch our newest online community – the ONES + CFPB Supervision Network. As institutions grow and reach new thresholds of examination, the NAFCU team developed this exclusive, member-only network to bring credit union leaders together to discuss the CFPB and NCUA examination processes, expectations and best practices."

Demangone continued, "NAFCU will also use this network as an opportunity to solicit feedback directly from our membership to bolster our advocacy efforts with our industry's chief regulators. Our team could not be more excited to enhance our robust network offerings with this impactful, member-focused network."

Participants of the private network will be able to exchange knowledge with peers via active discussion threads, hear insights from NAFCU staff and industry experts, gain access to a directory of fellow NAFCU member credit union leaders, and choose to post and respond anonymously when topics are especially sensitive, according to the trade association's website.
