In April, the $4.3 billion, San Diego-based Mission Fed launched a $50,000 match campaign encouraging community members to help the food bank, a critical lifeline for thousands of San Diegans that helps feed vulnerable families and seniors and those impacted by COVID-19. Prior to the COVID-19 crisis, the San Diego Food Bank was providing food assistance and resources to 350,000 people every month. Now, that number is over 600,000.
