The board of directors for the $1.9 billion AmeriCU in Rome, N.Y., has appointed Ronald Belle as its new president/CEO.
He succeeded Mark Pfisterer, who retired after more than four decades of service in the credit union movement.

From the banking industry, Belle joined AmeriCU in 2017 as chief experience officer.

Before joining the credit union, Belle held several executive posts with Fifth Third Private Bank, Bank of America and KeyBank.
"Since joining the credit union in 2017, Ron has made an impact," John Stevenson, board chair for AmeriCU, said. "His focus on member and employee experience is relentless and has been transformative to our organization."
AmeriCU serves a membership of more than 137,000.
Ron Ferrance has been named president/CEO of Glatco Credit Union in Spring Grove, Pa.
He succeeds current President/CEO William J. Bowker, who plans to retire on July 1.
The 2019 recipient of CrossState's William W. Pratt Lifetime Achievement Award for Credit Union Professional of the Year, Bowker has been part of the credit union movement for more than 43 years. Arriving at Glatco in 1987, he has seen the credit union grow from $3 million in assets to $43 million in assets.
Ferrance holds more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry, where he began as a teller and most recently served as chief lending officer for the $168 million Cross Valley Federal Credit Union in Wilkes Barre, Pa.
Glatco serves a membership of more than 3,200.
