New CEOs announced.
Credit unions in Florida and Indiana have recently named new CEOs.
The board of directors for the $386 million Jax Federal Credit Union announced the appointment of Joseph Nowland as the Jacksonville, Fla.-based credit union's new president/CEO starting April 1.

He succeeds Gerri Sexsion who will retire on March 29 after 21 years of service as Jax FCU's chief executive.
Nowland holds more than 24 years of experience in the financial services industry.

He most recently served as chief business services officer for more than 11 years at the $8.2 billion VyStar Credit Union in Jacksonville.
Before joining VyStar, he was a community bank president and a vice president and regional small business manager for Wachovia Bank before it was purchased by Wells Fargo.
"Joe's passion and experience immediately resonated with our board, and we trust that our members will be just as excited to welcome him to the Jax Federal Credit Union family," Jax FCU Board Chair Charles T. McLeod Jr., said.
Jax FCU operates eight branches and employs 108 staff members who serve a membership of 36,344.
This summer Gene Novello will become the new president/CEO of the $359 million TECH Credit Union in Crown Point, Ind.

He will succeed President/CEO Mike Hussey who will retire June 30 after more than four decades of service.
With more than 35 years of financial services experience, Novello most recently served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for the $3.1 billion Teachers Credit Union in South Bend for nearly eight years.
He also worked as vice president of commercial banking at Peoples Bank, vice president of commercial lending at Horizon Bank and vice president and group manager for private banking at Centier Bank.
"Gene is a perfect fit to continue the growth and member service that TECH Credit Union has come to be known for," Tech CU Board Chair Joe Machara said. "We look forward to his leadership. I would also thank Mike Hussey for all the success he has brought to TECH Credit Union during his tenure."
TECH CU operates seven branches and employs 94 staff members who serve a membership of 38,316.
