Five credit unions ranked in the top 10 spots in the 2018 MagnifyMoney Mobile Banking App Ratings but bank apps now provide as good a user experience as credit unions.

The $4.4 billion Kingsport, Tenn.-based Eastman Credit Union and the $5.8 billion Atlanta-based Delta Community Credit Union tied with Discover and BB&T for No. 1 overall banking app at 4.8. Three financial credit unions − ESL Credit Union ($6 billion, Rochester, N.Y.), Redstone Federal Credit Union ($4.8 billion, Huntsville, Ala.), and Wright-Patt Credit Union ($4.3 billion, Beavercreek, Ohio) − tied with BBVA Compass, FirstBank and Wells Fargo, for second place with a score of 4.7.
