The board of directors of the Louisiana Credit Union League said Wednesday that Robert Gallman will become the new president/CEO of the statewide trade organization on March 1.
He succeeds the league's President/CEO Anne Cochran who announced her intent to retire last July after serving more than 40 years in the movement.
For more than 20 years, Gallman has worked with the Cornerstone Credit Union League in Plano, Texas, the nation's largest regional league that serves credit unions in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. At the Cornerstone League, he held multiple leadership roles including executive vice president, chief operations officer and chief business services officer. Previously, he served as the vice president and senior marketing officer at CUNA Mutual Insurance Co.
