Halloween costumes can be fun for adults, but like crime they frequently expose an abysmal lack of judgment. So when people combine crime and costumes, it’s a real schmuck circus. Here’s a look at a few regrettable costume choices for a few of the dumbest credit union robbers of 2016 — prison garb will be their next get-up.

Michael Jackson, the Padres fan. According to a local report, back in February a skinny guy wearing one white glove, a jacket with red and black horizontal stripes — and a San Diego Padres baseball cap — allegedly passed a demand note to tellers at a US bank and a California Coast Credit Union branch in San Diego. “M.J.” quickly caught the FBI’s attention; no word if they blame it on the boogie.
