Erin Winters, the Young & Free Michigan Spokester for the $780 million Michigan First Credit Union in Lathrup Village was named a finalist in the "Live with Kelly and You" Co-Host Search Contest.
"Our very own Erin Winters is a top 20 finalist and has a chance to sit in the co-host chair next to Kelly Ripa during one episode of Live with Kelly!" Michael Poulos, president/CEO of Michigan First CU said. "This is great news for Erin and an exciting opportunity for Michigan First and the Young & Free Michigan brand to take center stage."
Poulos said Erin's dad encouraged her to enter the contest so she decided to give it a shot, mostly on a whim.
Winters' video submission was selected from among thousands of entries. The finalists were announced during "Live with Kelly" Thursday and the public voting phase has started.
Poulos is asking the credit union community to vote for Winters to help her reach the top 10 finalists.
Poulos said anyone can vote once per day at www.livekely.com or LiveFacbook.com/LiveKelly.
"Encourage your family, friends, neighbors and dog to vote. OK, maybe not your dog," Poulos joked. He said that you can share this link http://bit.ly/2dr4oFK, which goes directly to Erin's entry.

The deadline to vote is Oct. 9.
The top 10 finalists will be named on or around Oct. 11 and one of them will move one step closer to co-hosting alongside Kelly Ripa on her Oct. 21 show, Poulos said.
