The Des Moines, Iowa-based credit union and community bank payment solutions provider TMG launched a mobile app, Smart-AIM, which allows its clients' cardholders to make payments, view statements and manage accounts from anywhere.

In addition, cardholders can use the app, available soon for download from Apple and Android app stores, to make changes to their accounts, notify TMG of travel plans or suspend their accounts if a card is misplaced or stolen.

Through the app, piloted with a small group of financial institutions, cardholders can also access SmartControls, which gives cardholders the ability to determine where, when and how their cards can be used, monitor their account activity, request account information and set up alerts.
