Chris FeltonChris Felton was named president/CEO of the $1.4 billion Corporate Central Credit Union in Muskego, Wis., the organization's board of directors said Wednesday.

He succeeded Bob Fouch who retired at the end of 2015.

Felton joined Corporate Central in 1990 as its first and only field representative, spending his early years on the road building relationships with credit unions. After holding various leadership positions, he was promoted to executive vice president in 2012.

Felton was appointed interim CEO while the board conducted a nationwide search for Fouch's replacement.

“On behalf of the entire board of directors, we are thrilled to have Chris serve as our CEO,” said Kim Sponem, who serves as Corporate Central's chair and president/CEO of the $2.4 billion Summit Credit Union in Madison.

“He lives and breathes the credit union spirit and has clearly demonstrated the vision and leadership we need to best serve our members today and into the future,” she said.
