During the month of March, Firefly Credit Union employees didtheir part to help keep the Minnesota FoodShare stocked bycollecting more than 2,500 pounds of food and donating$4,269.13.

“It is unbelievable to think that our employees have donatedmore than four tons of food to such a great cause over the pastfour years alone,” Bill Raker, president/CEO Firefly CU said. “I amalways astounded by their generosity and interest in supporting ourcommunity.”

According to Minnesota FoodShare, its March campaign providedmore than half the food distributed by 300 food shelves throughoutthe state. The annual campaign has existed for more than 30 yearswith each dollar donated going directly to Minnesota foodshelves.
