This past week, nine credit unions across the U.S. madeadditions or changes to their staff. Plus, core processor NYMBUSand CUSO CU Realty Services hired new managers and executives.

|

The $2.8 billion Mission Federal CreditUnion in San Diego named Doug WrightCFO. Wright will be a member of the senior management team andoversee the areas of finance, accounting and facilities. Hebrings more than 25 years of financial services leadershipexperience to the position.

The $1.1 billion Columbia Credit Union inVancouver, Wash., hired Tiffany McGuire as vicepresident of branch services. In this position, McGuire willprovide leadership for the development and management of the creditunion’s branch system. She will be responsible for attainingmaximum branch productivity, service benchmarks, sales goals andmember and market growth.

|

The $328 million Evolve Federal Credit Union inEl Paso, Texas hired Randy Glover as vicepresident of mortgage lending. Glover comes from the $565 millionGulf Winds Federal Credit Union in Pensacola, Fla., where he servedas assistant vice president, mortgage lending.

MIDWEST

|

The $664 million University of Michigan CreditUnion in Ann Arbor, Mich., promoted JulieWigley (pictured) to vice president of talent andbrand development. Wigley will lead the human resources andmarketing teams and will be responsible for upholding UMCU’semployment and organizational brand.

EAST

|

The $2.7 billion Service Credit Union inPortsmouth, N.H., announced four promotions. DaynaGough was promoted to assistant vice president ofeducation. Gough has been with Service since 2002 and has served asmanager, business processes/education since 2011; before that, shewas the manager of business analysis from 2008 to2011. Dennis Donnelly was promoted toassistant vice president of the contact center. Donnelly waspreviously senior manager of the contact center and has been withthe credit union for more than 10 years. RyanHealey was promoted to assistant vice president of memberservices. He previously served as manager of quality assurance forService. Healey has been with Service since 2003. StephanieKinnett was promoted to assistant vice president ofregulatory compliance. Kinnett has worked for the credit unionsince August 2015 as a staff auditor. Prior to that, Kinnettwas a credit union examiner for the NCUA for more than six years.

The $152 million Dannemora Federal CreditUnion in Dannemora, N.Y., hired Chris Hayas president/CEO. Hay brings more than 14 years of experience inthe financial services industry to the credit union. For thepast six years he has held the position of vice president andcommercial banking relationship manager at NBT Bank, N.A.

The $755 million St. Mary’s Credit Union inMarlborough, Mass., promoted Larissa C. Thurstonto COO, CFO and senior vice president of finance. In her new role,she also oversees the credit union’s operations, human resources,IT and marketing functions. Sarah A. Day waspromoted to assistant vice president and commercial loan officer.Day joined St. Mary’s in 2010 as marketing manager and joined thecommercial lending team in 2013.

The $5.2 billion Teachers Federal Credit Unionbased in Hauppauge, N.Y., promoted FrancisCollins to senior vice president, credit. In his newposition, Collins will serve as a member of the senior managementteam and oversee all lending department functions and products,including mortgages, indirect auto loans, leasing and commercialloans, as well as underwriting and servicing.

The $1.1 billion Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union inLowell, Mass., promoted Kara Doyle to vicepresident of commercial lending. She will now oversee all aspectsof the commercial lending department. Doyle brings more than 20years of experience in the financial industry to her newposition.

NYMBUS, an API driven core banking platformprovider, hired David Mitchell as executive vicepresident and chief strategy officer. In this role, he will beresponsible for supporting the overall direction and planning ofthe company’s go-to-market strategy. Mitchell will also work withNYMBUS’ executive leadership team to develop the company’s globalvision.

|

CU Realty Services, a real estate servicesCUSO, announced four new hires. Deborah Jonesstepped into a new role as the director of client services,overseeing all client support services as well as the accountmanagement and member services teams. HarrisonDorne is CU Realty’s new account manager coveringMaryland; Washington, D.C.; Virginia; Massachusetts and Maine.Dorne arrived to CU Realty services from CoStar Group, where heprovided commercial real estate marketing and advertising solutionsto commercial brokers, property managers and investors.Greg Fairbanks is CU Realty’s new account managerin the southeast, serving Georgia and Florida. Fairbanks has workedextensively in that region, where he served as the vice presidentof a national home warranty company for 19 years. JamesFederis was hired as an account manager, he will bebuilding long term alliances with credit unions throughout northernand southern California. He brings 28 years of title and escrowexperience to the CU Realty Services team.
