A former credit union CEO and her husband, a Baltimore County police sergeant, face theft charges for allegedly embezzling more than $100,000 from the $4.8 million HealthCare United Federal Credit Union, according to court documents and police reports.

Tina Marie Galloway, 44, of Fallston, Md., who resigned from the Baltimore-based credit union in November 2014, was charged with one count of theft of more than $100,000, according to court records filed Sept. 1. Her husband, Sergeant Daniel Gregory Galloway, 40, an 18-year veteran of the Baltimore County Police Department, was charged with seven counts of theft and five counts of conspiracy to commit theft, according to court records filed Sept. 3 in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.
