This week, credit unions across the nation hired seven new people and promoted five executives. One credit union announced the retirement of a CEO, while another cooperative and a vendor named new board chairs, and four people were honored for their contributions to the credit union movement.


Fran Fritz was named vice president of lending for the $254 million Sussex County Federal Credit Union in Seaford, Del. With nearly 29 years of professional experience, she previously held executive positions with the $254 million USX Federal Credit Union in Cranberry Township, Pa. and the $161 million Department of Interior Federal Credit Union in Wash., D.C.
