The $439 million Sunmark Federal Credit Union in Latham, N.Y., announced recent employee promotions. Toni LeBron was promoted to vice president of member relations; Alissa Sykes was promoted to vice president of lending; Carole Wands was promoted to vice president of marketing, sales and technology, and Bryan Delehanty was promoted to SVP.

Jessica Revoir was promoted to assistant vice president of marketing at the $176 million First Financial Federal Credit Union.

MIDWEST

The $164 million Prospera Credit Union in Appleton, Wis., hired Mike Sanders to serve as its vice president of commercial lending. Matt Daniels joined the $467 million Heritage Federal Credit Union in Newburgh, Ind. He previously served as vice president/CFO at the $465 million Notre Dame Federal Credit Union in Notre Dame, Ind., for eight years and as director of accounting and finance at the $3.2 billion Space Coast Credit Union in Melbourne, Fla., for two years.

The $144 million Astera Credit Union in Lansing, Mich., promoted Austin Ashley to the position of marketing manager. He joined the Astera team two years ago as a marketing assistant and was later promoted to digital media coordinator.

WEST

Carrie Foster was appointed CFO for the $691 million Pacific Marine Credit Union in Oceanside, Calif. Foster, a CPA, previously served as vice president controller at Patriot Bank in Texas and holds 12 years of experience in financial services industry.

Ty Robbins joined the $1.2 billion Oregon Community Credit Union in Eugene, Ore., as its vice president of technology. He holds more than 20 years of experience in technology infrastructure design and implementation, agile development methodology and project management.

Jack Weldon was hired as vice president of marketing for the $7.3 billion First Technology Federal Credit Union in Mountain View, Calif. With more than 25 years of experience, he most recently served as senior director of global digital marketing and operations for Visa.

Todd Lane, president/CEO of the $1.8 billion California Coast Credit Union in San Diego, was elected chair of the Richard Myles Johnson Foundation, the state foundation for credit unions in California and Nevada. Beth Dooley, president/CEO the $2.2 billion Educational Employees Credit Union in Fresno, Calif., was elected vice chair, and Hank Barrett, president/CEO of the $525 million Valley First Credit Union in Modesto, Calif., was elected secretary/treasurer. New members to the board include Rob Greaff, president/CEO of the $32 million Delta Schools Federal Credit Union in Antioch, Calif; Wally Murray, president/CEO of the $515 million Greater Nevada Credit Union in Carson City, Nev.; Kevin Posey, president/CEO of the $68 million San Bernardino Schools Employees Federal Credit Union in San Bernardino, Calif., and Brad Houle, president/CEO of the $132 million CAHP Credit Union in Sacramento, Calif. Tena Lozano was appointed the executive director of the Richard Myles Johnson Foundation. She previously served as the foundation's executive director on a part-time basis while also serving on the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues' staff.

The Michigan Credit Union League honored Kelli Ellsworth Etchison, vice president of community and business development at the $573 million LAFCU in Lansing, Mich., with the 2014 Credit Union Youth Advocate of the Year award. This achievement recognizes a credit union employee for outstanding individual contributions that serve youths, including promoting or teaching youth financial education, promoting cooperative youth financial resources and participating in community outreach efforts for youth development.

Michael Blank was named EVP for corporate development and strategic planning for the Sheeter Group LLC in Windermere, Fla.

Credit Union Student Choice, a Wash.-D.C.-based CUSO, hired Eric Sanchez as its manager of strategic partnerships. He most recently worked at the $504 million Generations Community Federal Credit Union in San Antonio.
