Just in time for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday weekend, America First Credit Union has helped ensure local families in need have a meal to share.   As part of its tradition over the past decade, employees and volunteers at the credit union based in Riverdale,Utah have once again joined forces with the community for an annual food drive.   In just one month, America First CU collected 2,200 lbs of non-perishable food items and 3,342 lbs in turkeys for a total of 15,542 lbs of food, which the Utah Food Bank will then distribute to local food pantries.

According to Utah Food Bank, one in five Utah children don’t know where their next meal will come from, and every day about 472,000 Utahns risk missing a meal.
