The $187 million First Financial Federal Credit Union in Wall Township, N.J., hired Jennifer Spector as compliance and risk analyst. She has more than 10 years of banking experience, most recently as branch manager for First Atlantic Federal Credit Union in Eatontown, N.J.

The $2.4 billion Everence Credit Union in Goshen, Ind., named Kenneth Hochstetler as its new president/CEO. Larry Miller, current president/CEO of the credit union that serves the Mennonite Church USA, plans to retire at the end of August after 16 years in that position. Hochstetler is currently senior EVP at Univest Corp., which provides trust, financial planning, investment, foundation and insurance services through a network of approximately 40 offices in southeastern Pennsylvania.

The $1.7 billion United Federal Credit Union in St. Joseph, Mich., named Joseph Abbott as branch manager in Statesville, N.C., where he had been a member service adviser. UFCU also named Emily Szymkiewicz as branch manager of its flagship branch in St. Joseph, Mich. She had been manager of the Stevensville, Mich., branch. Kameron Morris was promoted from assistant branch manager in Berrien Springs, Mich., to the branch manager in Stevensville.

The $584 million LAFCU in Lansing, Mich., promoted Jordan McNeilly to marketing analyst and hired Alyssa Sliger as marketing intern. McNeilly joined LAFCU as a teller at the South Lansing Branch last year. He had been with Flagstar Bank. Sliger is a recent graduate of Michigan State University.

The $4 billion Ent Federal Credit Union in Colorado Springs, Colo., said CEO Charles Emmer plans to retire in October. Current President Randy Bernstein will become president/CEO. Emmer had taken the helm in 1996. Bernstein joined Ent in 1997 as vice president of operations, then served as EVP and COO before becoming president in 2011.

The $396 million Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union in Kailua Kona announced the appointment four members to its nine-member board. Dwight Manago, president and manager of the Manago Hotel, and Daryl Kurozawa, associate medical director for the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, were appointed to full terms. Marilyn Koschella, a former board chair with the Greater Nevada Credit Union, was appointed to a full term after previously being appointed in 2013 to fill a remaining one-year term. Thomas Griffiths, retired Iowa league executive who recently served as the interim president/CEO, was appointed to fill the rest of a former board member's term.

System United Corporate Federal Credit Union in Westminster, Colo., said Board Chair Greg Hill, president/CEO of Community Financial Credit Union in Broomfield, Colo., was elected for another three-year term. Secretary/Treasurer Todd Adamson, president/CEO of Cyprus Federal Credit Union in West Jordan, Utah, was also elected for another three-year term. William Willingham III, president/CEO of WyHy FCU in Cheyenne, Wyo., has served on the supervisory committee since 2010 and was newly elected to a three-year board term. Continuing to serve on the board are Carlos Pacheco, CEO of Premier Members Federal Credit Union in Boulder, Colo., as vice chair, as well as Mark Hawkins, president/CEO of Altura Credit Union in Riverside, Calif.; James Hofeling, president/CEO of Jordan Federal Credit Union in Sandy, Utah; and Rainy Thoen, president/CEO of Community Choice Credit Union in Commerce City, Colo.

The $939 Unitus Community Credit Union in Portland, Ore., hired Amy Olson as mortgage lending manager. Olson will lead day-to-day operations and production within the credit union's mortgage department and help Unitus grow its mortgage lending business in communities across Oregon and Washington. She has more than 20 years of mortgage finance experience, including in leadership positions at Wells Fargo, Umpqua Banka and JP Morgan Chase.

The $982 million Columbia Credit Union in Vancouver, Wash, hired Jeff Havener as vice president of lending operations. Havener has more than 25 years of industry experience, most recently as SVP of mortgages for a regional bank.

CU24 in Tallahassee, Fla., said its board elected Alvin Cowans, president/CEO of McCoy Federal Credit Union in Orlando, Fla., as chairman. Jimmy Smith, president/CEO of Singing River Federal Credit Union in Moss Point, Miss., was elected vice chairman. Becky Hulett, CFO at 121 Financial Credit Union in Jacksonville, Fla., continues as secretary/treasurer.
