The $184 million First Financial Federal Credit Union in Wall, N.J., hired Thomas Coleman as lending manager at its corporate headquarters. Coleman has more than 20 years of consumer loan underwriting experience, including as vice president of Customers Bank in Langhorne, Pa., and at Credit Union of New Jersey in Ewing and Mercer County NJ Teachers Federal Credit Union.

The $336 million United Teletech Financial Federal Credit Union in Tinton Falls, N.J., re-elected Gilbert B. Harris, Michael Hou, Derek D. Mahoney and Ruth Ann Kluin to its board of directors. Kluin was re-elected chairman, a position the Bell Labs/Lucent retiree has held for more than 38 years.

South

The $313 million Belvoir Federal Credit Union in Woodbridge, Va., elected two incumbents and two new members to its board of directors. Incumbents Alfred Rudolph and Scott McGrath were re-elected and Dennis Ellison was newly elected to the board for three-year terms. The 2014-2015 executive committee comprises Chair Alfred Rudolph, Vice Chair Candi Johnson, Treasurer Marocco Roberts and Secretary Judith Searles-Miller. More than 8.5% of the 22,000 eligible voters participated either online or by mail.

Brenda Turner retired after 22 years as president/CEO of the $215 million Arlington Community Federal Credit Union in Falls Church, Va. Karen Rosales, COO since 2010, is serving as interim CEO while the board of directors searches for a permanent successor.

The $1 billion Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union in Aberdeen, Md., swore in its 2014 board of directors at its annual meeting on April 10. They are Chairman John A. Blomquist, Vice Chairman Barry D. Decker, CSM (Ret.), Secretary Antha W. Edwards, Treasurer Joseph A. Traino III, LTC (Ret.), Assistant Treasurer Sandra J. Sasser and directors Charles N. Alston Sr., Donald J. Burnett, COL (Ret.), Michael L. Dixon, LTC (Ret.), David H. Gilbert, Dwight E. Hair, COL (Ret.) and Windsor L. Jones. Gilbert was recognized for his 45 years of service as a volunteer, having joined as an alternate director in 1969 when the now 11-branch APGFCU had $5 million in assets and no branches.

The $4.6 billion Delta Community Credit Union in Atlanta hired Rick Ellis and Eric Latimer as directors of commercial lending. Ellis most recently was SVP of real estate lending at United Community Bank in Marietta, Ga. Latimer is a 15-year veteran of commercial and industrial lending with extensive experience in portfolio management, business development and credit underwriting.

Midwest

The $496 million Financial Center Federal Credit Union in Indianapolis promoted Julie Oslund to program administrator in the accounting department, Michael Hostetler to enterprise project manager in the information technology department and Matthew Stoops to director of business banking. Financial Center also recently hired Chris Vanderveld as branch manager of the Fox Road Center; David McKenzie as e-services manager in training in member services; Adrian Phillips as marketing analytics and project specialist; April Wood as business development specialist; and Sean Sullivan as media and marketing campaign specialist.

West

The $8.5 billion The Golden 1 Credit Union in Sacramento, Calif., filled four vice president positions. Greg Brown was hired as vice president of consumer lending. He has 35 years of experience, including at Citibank and BMO/Harris Bank. Mark Chapman was hired as vice president of marketing. He has 29 years of experience, including with Bank of America, Visa, Fair Isaac and Redwood Credit Union in Santa Rosa, Calif. Kathy Coonan was hired as vice president of account services. She spent the past 19 years with Wescom Credit Union in Pasadena, Calif., and First Tech Federal Credit Union in Beaverton, Ore. Ning Duong was promoted to vice president of digital channel delivery. She has 14 years of experience in financial services and was promoted from senior market area manager.

The $1.3 billion Numerica Credit Union in Spokane Valley, Wash., promoted Lynn Ciani to EVP/general counsel from vice president and general counsel. She has more than 30 years of financial industry experience and joined Numerica in 2012.

The $2 billion Provident Credit Union dedicated its headquarters in Redwood Shores, Calif., to Ludelle Morrow, president/CEO for 19 years. Morrow retired in 2002 after 44 years of service and now lives in Grants Pass, Ore., and Rancho Mirage, Calif.
