The $17 billion Pentagon Federal Credit Unionin Washington said it named Jane Whitfieldpresident/CEO of the PenFed Foundation. Whitfield will replaceChristopher Flynn, who will return to his role as senior executivevice president of PenFed until his upcoming retirement. Whitfieldhas more than 20 years of nonprofit experience, including in seniorpositions with the UC Berkeley School of Law, Graduate TheologicalUnion and Bay Area Legal Aid. She founded Whitfield Consulting in2008. Her father and brother both served in the military and herson, Marine Sgt. Matthew Abbate, was posthumously awarded the NavyCross for valor shown in an ambush in Afghanistan’s Helmandprovince in 2010.

The $237 million NH Federal Credit Union inConcord, N.H., appointed Stephanie Milender to itsboard of directors. She is the administrator for the NewHampshire’s Adjutant General’s Department. HollyPratt was recently appointed to the supervisory committee.She is assistant controller for St. Paul’s School in Concord.Catherine Van Norstrand joined NHFCU asassistant to the president. She has extensive experience inadministrative management and senior executive support in thelegal, financial services and aerospace industries.
