CO-OP Financial Servicesannounced Wednesday it will use its exhibition space at CUNA'sGovernment Affairs Conference to tell the world history of paymentsystems, from bartering in ancient cultures to today's onlinepayments.

“There has never been an exhibit like it at a credit union tradeshow, both in its scale and its innovative industry and corporatestorytelling,” said Stan Hollen, president/CEO. “CO-OP's businesslines specifically address the need of credit unions to enabletheir members to make payments conveniently and safely – the twokey engines of historical innovation.”

The exhibit, entitled “Evolution is Inevitable: The Search forConvenience and Safety in Payments,” will include art, video andtext. It will illustrate the long history of payments is a story ofconstant change driven by the need to make it easy to pay forthings, and to make that transaction free of the fear of fraud,CO-OP said in the release.

GAC exhibit hall hours are scheduled from Sunday, Feb. 23through Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at the Washington ConventionCenter.
