The $424 million BrightStar Credit Union in Sunrise, Fla.,presented a Financial Fitness Fair on Jan. 30 at Walter C. YoungMiddle School. About 200 people attended the session for highschool students, families and small business owners, held inpartnership with the city of Pembroke Pines.

The fair included a 'meet and greet' with Pembroke Pines MayorFrank Ortis and sportscaster Jimmy Cefalo, financial literacy andeducational seminars, more than two dozen vendor tables withbusinesses from the local community, music, giveaways and freepizza.
