The Members Group and its processing partner First Data Corpnow offer what they called a streamlined path to issuing EMV cardsfor qualified credit unions.

To qualify, credit unions will need to use personalizationprocesses and chip certification that match those used in thefaster program.

First Data has completed the steps necessary to offer theexpedited EMV implementation process to qualifying financialinstitutions. To offer the process, a processor must meeteligibility requirements outlined by the card networks, includingthe prior successful completion of a U.S. chip issuing project.
