iPad users did more and spent more on the mobile banking channel than smartphone owners in 2013, according to a study of 135,000 active end-users of Malauzai Software.

The Austin, Texas-based software developer said the 16 million logins those users at 130 credit unions and banks recorded in 2013 yielded an average of $691 per transaction, compared with $375 for smartphones.
