A former internal accountant for the $32 million Dowell Federal Credit Union in Tulsa, Okla., will be sentenced April 30 for embezzlement.
Brandi L. Ward pleaded guilty last week in U.S. District Court in Tulsa, admitting to embezzling $84,000 from Dec. 31, 2008, just six months after she was hired, to Feb. 11, 2013, according to court documents.
Dowell FCU serves more than 6,000 members.
