The NCUA announced a new webinar Tuesday that will provide credit unions with information regarding field of membership expansions.
Scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at 2 p.m. Eastern, the free event is appropriate entitled, “Field of Membership Strategies for Federal Credit Unions.”
Dominic Carullo, an economic development specialist with the Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives, and Ruth Siragusa and Jason Schultz, consumer access analysts with NCUA's Office of Consumer Protection, will host the webinar.
Other topics to be covered include advantages of each type of federal charter, policy requirements for various expansion options and where to find additional regulator information on the topic.
