The former manager of a creditunion and a bank accused of embezzling more than $250,000 is facingcriminal charges in two Pennsylvania courtrooms – in two separatecases.

Tiffany Kay Look, 39, is accused of stealing more than $135,000from the $2.5 billion Members 1st FCU in Mechanicsburg,Penn., earlier this year and $115,000 from Mid Penn Bank in 2010,according to court documents.

Look is accused of taking out fraudulent loans and stealing fromaccounts, including from a dead woman's estate. She joins a growinglist of credit union managers accused of dippinginto credit union coffers for personal expenses.

Look, who was manager at Members 1st FCU's branch on Market Street in Camp Hill, Penn.,waived a preliminary hearing Dec. 11 in Cumberland County Court onthe credit union case.

Her arraignment on those charges is Feb. 20.

She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Dec. 18 in DauphinCounty Court on the bank case.

Lowe, who remains free with a $50,000 unsecured bail in eachcase, is charged with more than 20 counts of theft by deception,forgery, access device fraud and identity theft, according topolice reports.

Charges were filed against Look last month after aninvestigation uncovered she had allegedly stolen $136,160 from thecredit union, police said.

The continuing investigation uncovered a trail of deceit tracingback to her previous employment at Mid Penn Bank in SwataraTownship, where she allegedly took out two fraudulent loans in2010, totaling $115,000, police said.

She was arrested Dec. 1 on her second set of fraud charges,police said.

Although she initially denied taking out the loans, Look laterconfessed to police that some of the missing funds were spent atcasinos, said court documents.

Look also represented the credit union as a member of the boardof Leadership Cumberland, a non-profit business development agencyin Camp Hill, Penn., according to the organization's website.
