The NCUA issued three prohibition orders in November that banthree former credit unions employees from participating in anyaffairs at federally insured financial institutions.

Carrie Bomyea, a former employee of the $182 million Glass CityFederal Credit Union in Maumee, Ohio; Armelinda Castillo, a formeremployee of the $59 million WesTex Federal Credit Union in Lubbock,Texas, and Yolanda O'Keefe, a former employee of the $21 millionConnecticut Community Credit Union in Pawcatuck, Conn., eachreceived an order from the NCUA.

Bomyea pleaded guilty to an embezzlement charge and wassentenced to 18 months in jail, five years supervised release andordered to pay restitution in the amount of $199,576.35, accordingto the NCUA.
