Credit union industry leaders and volunteers will behonored during the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues' annual meeting andconvention this week in San Francisco.

Patsy Van Ouwerkerk, president/CEO of the $2.1 billion,174,457-member Travis Credit Union in Vacaville, Calif., will receive the LeoH. Shapiro Lifetime Achievement Award, the CCUL's highest honorrecognizing excellence in credit union philosophy and a lifetime ofcontributions to the California credit union movement.

The award is named after Leo H. Shapiro, founder of the leagueand considered a father of the California credit unionmovement.
