Beth Ann Ledbetter, a former branch manager of the $63 million Valley Credit Union in Tuscumbia, Ala., has been sentenced to two years' probation for participating in a scheme that embezzled more than $61,000.

While on probation, Ledbetter will serve six months of home detention without electronic monitoring and under the supervision of a probation officer, according to court documents.

Ledbetter was sentenced Oct. 22 by U.S. District Court Judge Inge P. Johnson in Birmingham, Ala.
