The $233 million Scient Federal Credit Union in Groton, Conn.,has named two new vice presidents.
|The 16,600-member institution named Scott Varga to the newlycreated position of vice president of information technology.
|He had been an independent consult for the past two years andprior to that was chief infrastructure officer at ARGO Group in SanAntonio, his newemployer said.
|David Purcell, meanwhile, has been named vice president oflending and chief lending officer.
|He has more than 25 years of financial industry leadershipexperience and had most recently been vice president and customerexperience manager at Patriot National Bank in Stamford, Conn.,Scient FCU said.
