AutoNation Direct said it has entered into an agreement with IBM Southeast Employees' Federal Credit Union to provide a member auto buying service in seven states.

The Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based company said the service provides members with a personal auto consultant to assist them through the entire buying process, including providing pricing on new and pre-owned vehicles, completing all documents in advance, and preparing the vehicle for delivery prior to the member arriving at the dealership.

Pierre Scavuzzo, director of consumer and indirect lending at the $862 million IBM Southeast EFCU in Boca Raton, Fla., said the credit union is looking forward to the partnership.

“We are pleased to partner with AutoNation Direct to deliver this unique auto buying service to our members. Our organizational values align perfectly,” Scavuzzo said.

The member auto buying service will be available in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Nevada and Washington, according to AutoNation Direct.

“Not only do our geographic footprints align, but, more importantly, our purposes and philosophies align,” said Brian Feldman, general manager of AutoNation Direct, on the alliance with IBM Southeast EFCU.
