The Northwest Credit Union Foundation is accepting online nominations for the 2013 Summit Awards, which recognizes credit union professionals' outstanding achievements, leadership and positive impact on the credit union movement and their communities.

This regional honor, as well as others around the nation, is part of the CUNA's national awards program. The regional winners will be entered in the national awards program.

The Summit Awards recognize outstanding achievement in three categories:

  • Young Credit Union Professional: Recognizing outstanding achievements of credit union professionals 35 and younger.
  • Innovation and Impact: A new category showcasing an individual's positive impact on the credit union movement over the past three years
  • Lifetime Achievement Award: Honors a credit union professional whose sustained leadership documents social impact, embracement of credit union philosophy, effective advocacy and community improvement. Candidates for this honor are selected by Northwest Credit Union Association executive leadership and board.

The entry deadline for the Summit and CUNA awards is July 19.

The awards will be presented during the NWCUA's annual convention in Portland, Ore. on Oct. 8-10.
