The $278 million E & A Credit Union in Port Huron, Mich.,recently hosted a visit with students at Anchor Bay High School inFair Haven and state Rep. Andrea LaFontaine (R-Columbus Township)as part of the Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates'10th Annual Financial Literacy LegislativeChallenge.

“The presentations are a great way for E&A Credit Union toconnect with the youth of our communities,” said Janice Rose, CEOat E&A Credit Union. “They have had to grow up during a verytrying time with our struggling economy. It's very important forstudents to understand the benefits of properly managing theirmoney.”

This school year, E&A said, it led about 20 presentations toapproximately 500 students at Landmark Academy, Port Huron, PortHuron Northern and Anchor Bay high schools and St. Clair CountyCommunity College.
